So I'm pretty excited because I decided to finally do this post. I've always told myself "If I ever get a YouTube channel or blog, I'm going to do this." And now I am! I wanted it to be a fun, interactive post, so If you are reading this-I tag you! Write in the comments what your top ten favorite products under $10 are or you can post a pic on Instagram and tag me in it! I love seeing your pictures. Alright, lets get started~
Overview
1) e.l.f. Baked Highlighter in Blush Gems~$3
I've talked about this highlight 2 times already on my blog. I love this. It is most definitely a dupe for MAC Soft and Gentle (if ya want proof, check out this post). If I want to just add some glow, this is always a go-to no matter what blush I'm wearing. I've put this on some of my friends before and it compliments so many skin tones.
2) e.l.f. Mineral Eye Brightener in Buff~ $3
I decided to try this on behalf of EmilyNoel83 on YouTube. She had raved about Bare Minerals Well Rested and said that this was a close dupe so I thought I would try it. Let me just say that I have really dark, blue eye circles and using this to set my concealer makes a huge difference. Not only does the yellow tone warm up the blueness, but it is so brightening and almost reflective. Love it and will repurchase.
3) Maybelline Fit Me concealer in Fair~ $7.99
This is such an awesome concealer and I can't believe I haven't tried it until recently. The texture and consistency is beautiful, it's a perfect match for my skin, and it has great coverage. Like I said, I have dark circles that are also dry, and this concealer set with the Mineral Eye Brightener is the dream team.
4) Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara~ $6.99
I can honestly say that this is one of my top favorite beauty products, regardless of its awesome price point. This mascara has the best formula I've ever tried for my lashes. It's the perfect middle group between wet and waxy, so it gives my lashes awesome length and volume at the same time. The brush is also awesome because it combs through your lashes with ease, get right to the roots, and separates. You need to try this if you haven't already.
5) Jordana Made to Last Liner in Espresso Last
This liner is the creamiest, easiest pencil I've ever tried. I have the black one as well and use it more often, but the reason I included this one and not the black is because I love this color. I used the Rimmel Scandal-eyes pencil thing in their brown shade for a while, but didn't really like it because it was really warm and shimmery. This is the perfect dark brown color, it lasts, it's great and you should try it.
6) Maybelline Color Tattoo in Creamy Beige~ $6.99
I have several Color Tattoos and love all of them, but this one is definitely my favorite. The texture of this one is so much creamier than the rest and the color is amazing. My favorite look to do with this color is to blend this on the lid and up to the crease, blend a lighter color in the crease, and put a champagne color on the inner half of the lid.
7) EOS lipbalm in Coconut Milk~ $3.29
I can't lie, I'm an EOS hoarder. I love them all, but this one is way different than the non-striped originals. The two with the stripes apparently are formulated to be more smoothing on the lips, and I definitely agree with that. Not only is the flavor of this awesome, but it made me realize that the rest of the balms aren't really all that moisturizing.
8) NYC Black Liquid Eyeliner~ $2.99
I've already raved about this in previous blog posts so I won't rave again (go here if you want to read a rave). I'll just say that this is cheap, it's lasted me forever, it's dark and dries matte, and lasts all day (and night).
9) NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brule~ $4.99
This is my go-to lazy, every day gloss. I'm really picky about gloss textures, and this one has my ideal texture and feeling on the lips- not too thick, not too thin, not sticky, and very smooth. It smells like vanilla cake, the color is so universally flattering, and it works with EVERY look you could possibly come up with.
10) NYX Eyebrow Gel in Blonde~ $6.99
This stuff has changed my life... okay it hasn't changed my life but it sure has changed how I feel about my brows. I have super thin, sparce brows due to a few years of over-plucking, and always dreaded the task of filling them in within my makeup routine. This product allows me to reshape my brows, fill them in as much as I want in the thin areas, and let it be more natural in the thicker areas. I've heard a lot of people say that this isn't truly waterproof and doesn't have staying power, but I've found that it is really waterproof and will not budge on me. Take that with a grain of salt because I have really dry skin.
That's all I have for y'all today! I hope you enjoyed this and found it interesting or helpful. Like I said, comment your top ten or post a picture on Instagram- I want to see!
Have a beautiful day

I love the NYX butter glosses and the EOS lip balms too! (I have three of them as backups, lol). I'm waiting for my current mascara to run out before I replace it with Clump Crushes, I've been really wanting to try it.
ReplyDeleteIt is SO awesome! My mom went shopping today and Covergirl was %25 off and she got me a backup lol. What mascara are you using now?
DeleteEssence Get Big Lashes - it's great for length and doesn't go on clumpy on me at all but I'd really like something that gives me some volume!

ReplyDeleteI love the maybelline colour tattoos too! If I had to add something to the list it would have to be the MUA blushes - they're so cheap and super pigmented :-)

Checked out your blog and love it! Not too familiar with MUA as we only have a small selection in the here in the US but I am wanting to try MUG blushes!
DeleteLove all these products and the best part is that they all under $10...Yeah! I currently use Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara, which I love and Maybelline Fit Me Concealer tops my list. EOS ip balms are so addicted and I probably use few of them right now. I really would like to try e.l.f Baked Highlighter in Blush...I just looove the shimmery color.
ReplyDeleteI have also tried the Full Lash Bloom and really liked it! I just like the shape of the wand on Clump Crusher a little better. I really think that e.l.f. highlighter would look great on you!
